this ine makes me cry also but it is meaningful to me. because when you are not with your girlfriend for a long time it can be very hard like in my situation. even when you are not around your children that hurts also. just think when you call your children and they are not there to answer you.

But referring to the metaphor of the "blurry chick" in this particular video, oftentimes 20-something and 30-something men get so caught up in "making it" that they forget the woman they love, until it's too late. Her singing while staring out the window, and then him coming home one day to an empty house, is a visual that rivals the lyrics. Another reason why this is a top-ten all-time song and video.
