Sorry, the first "motion picture" (Muybridge considered the Galloping Horse serial shots, not a movie) was Monkeyshines. Fred Ott's Sneeze was the first movie ever COPYRIGHTED and it was NOT directed by Edison, but his assistant WKL Dickson who was owned by the Edison Film Company. All cleared up :)

you know nothing about movie´s history, the first one who made a motion picture was Jules Merey from France, when he recorded an animal step by step,,,,dumbs!!

i was reading a book called the invention of hugo cabret it tells the moon story thing i found it interesting its a weird book with lots of pics in it 1/2 the book is filled with pic of it
