Wasted? Are you fucking sick? This dad turned his own son into what doctors believed could only be considered a vegetable. He recieved a High School AND a College Diploma. not only did he turn his son into a normal human being, he has saved numerous families due to his success with his own son.

Wasted. I think not.

To DontTakeCrack : Dude thats sad and pathetic that you would say that. This dad has so much love for his kid that he does all this just to see his kid happy. Its amazing that he would do this because some parents would put their kids in instutions just so they wont have to deal with them and thats sad. God isnt smiling about what you said and neither is most people that ready what you said. Your a sad sad person...

this is veary toughting1 I now a boy thats bout 2 years younger than me and he just like Rick, and he is one of the nices person that I have ever meet, just cuz someone has a disapility doens't mean they can go out and do something bout it!

This was so touching it made me cry to see the Love this Father shares for his son. What a gift to witness such Love. I pray for many many future races to be run !!

This man...emcompasses everything and more of the qualities of a true hero. I swear future dictionaries should simply use his name for the definitions of "fatherly love" and "hero". No more explanation is required.

I cant stop crying over a fathers love for his disabled son. It touches my heart to see how much the father will go through to give his son the experience of a life time. He is truly a hero.

when i watch this during our seminar here in olongapo philipines....
i was touched bythe loved of a father to his son...
i miss my father becuase he was died when i was in my grade school years...
i hope that someday i will see him again...
