Who the hell cares about your consumer choices? And r u still thinking in terms of nineteenth century industrialism? What is the value of a 35c car charger? The plastic, rubber and copper that it was made of? Or the marketing, packaging, design and distribution? If you think the answer is plastic/ruber/cooper then tell me why is something that is made for 35c sold for 19.95$? Modern economies are not about production but the value add China can produce while America designs.

What political ideas r not welcome in Sweden? There is a huge body of political thought emanating from the US. Some of it brilliant, some of it average and some of it dumb. Saying that any idea from the US is bad because of its origin is just ignorant. Besides is every idea dreamed up in Sweden brilliant?

i meen "piracy" thing is world wide & in US
so i dont care if swedish people are downloading Movies or songs, they should be able to Download ABBA & Yngwie malmsteen songs
for free anyway.

Then who would design the clothes you wear, make the movies you watch and the songs you listen to? I was born in Sweden and moved to the US when I was eleven. I bet you would like it if you came here.

Sure I have. My point is that Swedes and people all over the world consume American products and ideas. I think blind hostility towards the US is silly. It is a cool place.

Perhaps in your fantasy world. But in reality media is an industry that produce a product that is then sold. That this industry wants to be paid for what they produce is not a shock. I'm sure that Swedes want to be paid for their goods and services. No matter how socialist they are.

I'm from the US and I can honestly say our government is truly corrupt.What I find funny about this matter is that there are so many websites like pirate bay that we use and never are shut down.lol. Good job standing up to us though. :)
