First of all its how many days in THE year. no i highly doubt he is kidding you.I believe what happened to song writing was that it evolved to allow people to use music to express their true feelings. Lol, us UK-ians get shit on th radio 24/7, you guys get AWESOME things in the US (idk about you Sweden, sorry! Never been to Sweden!) We permanently had the radio on in our villa when we were in the US (the past 7 times in my case, my uncles nd nan = past 9 times!)
