Love oasis and the verve, this is 1 off the best songs i've ever heard, along with oasis slide away, both crackin songs!!!

i like the verve more, more good songs, oasis is like 1/6 is a good song, the verve makes it like 1/2! atleast!, so wdh, but still dont compare them, there voices are complete differend.

mate, slide away was on oasis' first album. which noel had already written by 1991. i think you'll find they didnt steal this song title. noel has the better lyrics, and liams voice is better than richard ashcrofts. oasis are so far ahead of them i cant express it enough!

Have to disagree oasisfan. The Verve are by far the greatest band of our generation...I seen both loads of times and Ashcrofts lyrics are deep man. This is fucking doped up music on steroids...Fucking love it!!!!!!

yeah Ashcroft is a great songwriter his words come from the soul and have a very dep meaning,Oasis are great too but the verve are better

For me its just the other way round. I prefer oasis cause of masterpieces like Live forever, champagne supernova, wonderwall, whatever, and so on...But I like the verve a lot! Richard has got the better voice, noel the better lyrics, i think...Who has got more quality then, i can't say..
