Damn. That's one of the only things I dislike about this genre of music. The rappers always seem to be a little too competitive. And the listeners emphasize too much on the greatest alive/ dead that they hate on and lose focus of the art that we are hearing.
Yea, weezy is different from rappers of the 90's, but I wouldnt consider his work garbage.
Bottom line is, just take it for what it is. A song. Forget about the rest and love it or hate it based on that fact.
