Too bad it came out in 2005. And it has a better RT rating then that crapfest Star Wars episode 3 that came out the same year.

I wonder if this comment comes from a lack of knowledge or intelligence? Serenity came out in 2005. It continues the story of Firefly, a TV series in 2002, which has a huge fan base.

This movie was paid for by fans. And it didn't disappoint them. That's more than pretty much any other sci fi movie can say.
