To do proper scratching and mixing you need a 'DJ turntable' , but you'll more likely find them under the name "Direct-Drive" tables. Cheaper, home appliance tables usually have a 'belt drive' which doesn't really respond fast enough (the record isn't picked up again after you scratch, it usually takes a second or more when you 'move' the record).

Good things to look for; google Reloop (4000 M3D or better) Numark, Technics, and look at their Direct Drive tables to get a good impression

Hey man, I would recommend Hee Haw Brayks (first one) by DJ Butchwax (aka DJ Flare) and Superseal Breaks by DJ Q-Bert. Hee Haw has one entire side made up of hundreads of samples with all the classic sounds repeated numerous times. Also Superseal is a skipless skratch record which has many cool samples to skratch with. All the best!
