The other day, in my local coffee shop, I said to the barista, who is about 30 years my junior, "Your tattoo reminds me of a song by Lou Reed." She glanced at the words on her forearm -- You're Going To Reap Just What You Sow -- and said, "Perfect Day." A connection across generations.
