it is pretty annoying that New York automatically pops up NYC for everybody - but it is a hell of a song, and Sinatra was a god of a man...so I'll forgive him on this one lol ;o)

40 years ago New York was a great city but in todays world it is not in the top ten. The days when America spoke and the world listened is over. The USA is now just one of many voices in the world.

New York has plenty of culture. Every street has it's own culture...no two streets in New York are alike. You have your Italian section, your Jewish section, your Gay Section, Your black section, a commercial section, an underground section....New York is a city of sections and in all those sections somehow the city unifies it's self.
