Yeah the naked gun thing was taking the piss, out of the number of sequels films have these days although you probably know that, that they were making fun of sequels.

I have come up with the final solution what you do is you give them a numerical "pre-title" that way no matter how fucked up the sequels title is you know what order it's in.

I have to say, the worst name of any sequel would probably be Final Fantasy X-2. That's just wrong on a number of levels.
