I dont like arguing, thats not what i am about. If you dont agree with my opinion and millions of others, thats okay, its an opinion. But to say Kobe is not a better player than Duncan or Olajuwon is false.

Duncan has Parker, Shaq had Wade, MJ had Pippen, Kareem had Magic, and Pierce finally won one WITH Garnett. Kobe will win more WITH Gasol and Bynum.
Also remember, MJ was not even in his prime till his early 30's, right where Kobe is at now.

its about how hes played the game in a time and era where athletics are way more advanced then when bill russell played..name twenty stars players who played in that era and dominated like they are players are now, and enough with the sidekick crap duncan couldnt have done it without parker.and dnt forget he won one with david robinson.everybody has a sidekick russel had cousy kareem had magic.anybody can have championships look at robert horry dude has 7 no mvps..so make a point tht makes sense

Haha, is Kobe top 5 by all-time now? A 1-time MVP and a 3-time champion as a sidekick? Yes, they wouldn't have won without Kobe and Jordan wouldn't have had won 6 titles without Pippen but that doesn't make Pippen a top 5 all-time... Kobe has a long way to go to be on that list... He hasn't even got past guys like Olajuwon, TIm Duncan, Moses Malone etc... A 1-time mvp and a 3 time champion as a sidekick to Shaq ain't enough, sorry...

You're telling me that Kobe belongs in the same place as MJ (6 time champion and 6 time mvp), Jabbar (6 time champion, 6 time mvp), Magic Johnson (5 time champion, 3 time MVP), Larry Bird (3 time mvp and 3 time champion or Bill Russell (11 time champion and 5 time mvp) etc....

It's a true joke that you put Kobe in that list, a 1 time mvp and a 3 time champion as a sidekick (shaq was the the leader).

Hakeem did it by himself in 1994, he was the only all-star of the team and was the league mvp, dpoy and finals mvp. Kobe was only an all-star those years the Lakers won, Shaq was the true star. And how the hell can a one-time mvp and a sidekick during his championshipyears be among the 5-greatest by all-time? That's a freaking joke.
