In Flames is In Flames...why do we have to classify them as "old" or "new"...its the same band they where since 1994, sure they may have changed their sound, but their doing it for them...not for you or me. They want you to like whatever songs you want from which ever album you want...but not to classify them as old or new as they are the same people.

KAggaand, i have to agree with you.
Inflames was amazing around the time of Lunar Strain, Subteranean, Jesters Race etc...
now...its just like every mainstream metal band..and no not saying they suck, their music still has a strong message.

I have all their albums. I didn't get into them until Come Clarity with all honesty I didn't hear about them until then, but I really don't like any of their really old stuff. Clayman is aright but before that I just dont like it, they sounded like every other Melodic Death metal band...Okay okay your gonna yell every melodic death metal band sounds like them whatever.I like the direction they took, their sound is better. If I want melodic death metal their are millions that followed their lead.
