This song is rally true about most families today. Having to go to a completely city just to see your oppisite parent. Trust me it really does hurt. I had to take a TRAIN just to see my father. Also it is even worse when they split up just after they get back from being away. Children should grow up with BOTH parents not just one. That ruins a childs life forever. </3

I totally relate to concept of having two different last names and splitting up holidays and it affects to this very day! I'm even AmerAsian and that just adds to so I relate to this song a lot.
