wind- $17 kwh, coal- $5 kwh, nuke- $3kwh - the choice is clear.

The guy says when the wind doesn't blow, it doesn't generate. 82% of electrical system peak in the northern US latitudes, the turbines stand still. That is not the worst news, they are consuming power (on peak) to keep them warm enough to run when the wind does blow.

It looks like a huge opportunity for people to have jobs building the components domestically here in the US.
