Not sure about MIT and Princeton. I know Harvard and Yale are free if you are from a middle income family, or supporting yourself.

By the way, the time it takes an apple to fall doesn't depend on the mass of the Earth? How so?

I suppose bigger mass means stronger gravity. Compare the moon with the Earth.. smaller mass, about 6 times weaker gravity.

Anyone knows how much it costs to study at MIT? and how about Princeton, Harvard?

It doesn't have to be very precise, just something close.

they teach this stuff at a university??
megamarsvin (November 30, 2008 at 7:03 pm)
Physics you mean? Yes they do, among other things :D
YoeriYoeri (December 1, 2008 at 8:50 am)
well yea, i guessed. But i mean easy stuff like this. I notice he introduces himself so he might be recapping the basics, but it still seems weird
megamarsvin (December 1, 2008 at 11:05 am)
Yeah it was like that when I was at uni, the first course of the first year for most subjects was recapping the basics we learned in highschool. I figured getting a degree would be dead easy until the second semester started :D

I noticed on ur profile that ur dutch. So this applies to dutch universities too or did you study in the usa
megamarsvin (December 1, 2008 at 12:32 pm)
Ah no this was in Holland (Utrecht), just assumed judging from this video that it's the same over there.

Then again the professor in this video is Dutch too so maybe that explains it ;)
