A lot of people don't like watching Whitaker but I usually enjoy his fights.
He might not be very powerful but atleast he throws a lot of punches.
I can understand though, he is very defensive and his fights aren't 'thrilling' because he simply doesn't get hit.

He wasn't a defensive fighter. If you'll notice, he's the one throwing the vast majority of the punches and pushing the pace. He did this often. Again, he wasn't a defensive fighter, he simply had great defense. He incorporated it into his game perfectly, but that just means he was technically proficient to a phenomenal degree, not defensive-minded. That's not to say he never fought that way, but if you'll actually review his career, he became less and less defensively oriented as he matured.

I agree.
I meant that Whitaker is very defensive as in he doesn't get hit, not as in he runs around the ring avoiding contact.

Slow? Whitaker slow? Jeez. It's just possible that calling people Muslim terrorists is stupid too. Brazier was one of the best defensive fighters in the world at the time, Whitaker was THE best. It was never gonna be Ward-Gatti, but these guys actually have some skills.

Mowglie....
Read my whole post, spaz. "I always appreciate pea's great skills". Did you see that part ? It was not an exvciting fight, live. Backyard hick ? Born, raised, live, & boxed...out of Philadelphia. Got a deeper appreciation & knowledge of the game than you will ever possess, fake-ass pursit. Where are you from, a real boxing hotbed, I'm sure. Overreacting fool.

LOL, you purchased his career on DVD? You mean you watched this one fight and don't understand boxing therefore were unable to appreciate the master at work in front of you. Go back to watching Gatti and Ward you stupid inbred dick-sucking Muslim terrorist.

LOL! You must be the stupidest son of a bitch alive.

Saw this fight live (9th row). It was a boring fight live. I always appreciate pea's great skills, but this was monotonous.

He showed the entire package in this fight. You just have to lear to appreciate skilled boxing, or else stick to watching backyard brawls you dumb hick.
