well in mulan the girl is dominate and better than the men in the movie. you should get your facts straight before you criticize a whole gender. and plus they are being romantic in the movie its not like the guy whips his dick out and chases her...

This is only true if you look at the segments of movies that are provided.
Looking at the entire movies and messages as a whole...kindness always wins.
And women aren't what are fought for all they time.
Its for the people and being a good man and/or hero.

Mulan...Goes on to teach those men that women are equal, strong and as good as any man.
Beast is kind, sweet and compassionate...Eventually. He learns from his mistakes.
Bad examples, you did watch the WHOLE of the movies, right?

Besides. What's wrong with girls being rescued by big, strong men?
It's romantic.
It's not real. People need to understand that.

Theres a reason why the movies end with 2 guys fighting to establish who is better
1. Fights are entertaining to many, many, people and thats how it is in most stories
2.If two women were to fight and we men were to watch it, we'd be called perverts, slapped, and if we have wives, sleep on the cold, cold, couch with the cat while up all night because of the damn springs so i have to watch reruns of Frasier only to wake up to my angry feminist sisters who came with frying pans.....too specific?

or men who are afraid of the necessary confrontations with our more vulnerable side that challenging the status quo would require? I suspect the latter, but it would cause me far more distress to learn the former.

I'm surprised how many people who would as soon balk at how our traditional gender roles subjugate women are indifferent or even hostile to how it affects men. It reminds me of the case a few years ago in which a woman raped a man but could not be charged since it is legally impossible to charge a woman with the rape of a man... but I wonder who is more responsible for these injustices: Feminists who (wrongly) fear that any attention to men's issues will necessarily detract from their causes,

Endlessly trivial

Although I can see your point, (if I turn my head sideways and squint,) the fact still remains that we are all equal in one way or another.

Women can carry and sustain life. Men help create it, but woman still carry it.

Women have a less violent approach to things because of the life we carry; we see everyone and everything as someones child. Men protected women back before the agricultural revolution, but look at all we've achieved now! We are scientists, doctors, astronauts and much more!
