You're right. It was just me. I listened to it again today several months later. It is quite exciting. The playing is brilliant, perfect, etc., no one could do better, BUT there's just something about it that strikes me as...maybe TOO good, TOO clean???? The volume is one dimensional??? The vibrato is one dimensional??? Some times he doesn't vibrato at all??? Maybe it's the violin??? Maybe it's just me. :-)
