Parents are like that u just cant open up to them about ur life cos u just want them to think ur good even if u know ur not so u pretend to be evrything ur not but i got over that u be who u want to be and not what others want to see theyll get use to it

Exactly how I feel with my mom. (...?) She doesn't seem to take interest in my hobbies, or accept them. And, we've never really captured that mother-daughter bond. It's as if it's too late to just turn around and spend time with her, she never wants to do anything. /:
