i love david's films, BUT the transcendental meditation/ no negativity thing he is pushing is dangerous. it sounds spiritual and good, but TM is just a way to hypnotize you and make you hyper suggestible. there is no wishing away negativity, sorry to break it to you but it's true.

I'm in absolute agreement with you. In fact, my reaction upon seeing these 2 videos is one of the utmost respect and admiration for the willingness of those in the audience to take a stand. It's a real measure of courage that they do so: after all, that's David Lynch, a great artist whose work is itself entitled to respect. Imagine the cognitive dissonance in such a situation!

These are big concepts...
Nietzsche describes being "BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL" but the Human Race is still very much stuck in a dicotomy ; a Hegelian dialectical perception "Thesis and Anti-Thesis"
Our sense organs dictate this... hot-cold , light-dark, LOVE-FEAR, It is incomplete in an absolute sense,
but it is Our current consensus reality.
The goal of changing that consensus to a deeper unified understanding is noble and IT WILL happen.
But in the meantime it creates FEAR, it is DANGEROUS.

David is so right on. It's possible this "I am a good German" and "Invincible Germany" guy is a dangerous, fascist freak and corrupted this whole talk. It doesn't change what David and Dr. Hagelin are doing though. It was actually very instructive. Were those translations accurate? That cat is wacked!

David lynch is great!
The problem was that he has a very difficult message to get across when there is no language barrier and apparently this robbed guy is sparking some bad feelings within the crowd...sad, but I'm confident they'll someday turn around and realize for their misunderstanding.

Lynch was the right person at the wrong place, supporting the wrong idea. I'm sure the white robe guy is just a little carried away and overconfident. He is not real danger IMO.
And stop being such hippies. I've had to shove things up my ass and I'm still living a good life (and no, it was not a dick).

Some major brainwashing bullshit. Lynch was the wrong person to introduce this scumfuck. INVISIBLE! Fuck off! I rarely understand Lynchs work yet I remain facinated, if he wants to change the world how about talk like a human being and not like a Lynchian experiment.
