Stef, that is so amazing, in Sept 2003, i had the same thing happen to me, i met a man who showed and told me how to leave my abusive australian husband but in Aug 2005 i lost my hero when he was killed by an IED in Haditha, Iraq, he was a US Marine Corporal, BEAR, u will always be our hero, in our hearts and souls forever. With his courage, strength, advise, my 3 children and i were able 2 leave with help from the qld police in early dec 2004, we remain free from my ex by the courts.
