PEPCON Explosion

PEPCON rocket fuel plant disaster.

The plant manufactured an oxidizer called Ammonium Perchlorate. Ammonium Perchlorate is not in itself a fuel but a key component. It will however explode if heated to a high temperature in a confined space.

The Kidds Marshmellow factor right near there was vaporizes by the explosion... I say that is a big marshmellow roast. LOL

No, this explosion was the equivalent of 250 tons of TNT, while the Hiroshima blast was 13 to 18 kilotons.

The thing that gets me about this video is the shockwave that moves through the ground, just amazing.
