I've looked at some of your other posts mate. Sure Rommel fought for a Nazi government however, if you choose to ignore the military prowess of a man because he is considered evil, well u should ignore every single soldier who ever lived. Atrocities were committed by all in ww2 I very much hope you don't consider Churchill or Eisenhower worthy of such remarks. Not to mention there officers and soldiers.

The Wehrmacht, Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe can point to their exceptional military inheritance thanks to the German General Staff. Of this Rommel, was an example.

However, these units are forever condemned as the instuments & supporters of Nazi murder, oppression and genocide. You say one man was good ! Tell that to us who suffered blitskrieg, whose villages were torched, whose populations were exterminated. Shame is their epitaph and they will always carry it. They belong to the grave.

War is never a simple matter of right and wrong. Rommel, a Nazi general, used far more humane tactics than the Allied commanders who fired bombed Dresden & Tokyo. His divisions never committed war crimes or persectuved Jews, and he sent medical supplies to Allied hospitals in Libya.

Good is a relative term. Rommel fought for his country, the same way our men did. Its true that Germany started the war, but we would probably have done the same if some one forced us to live in poverty and squalor for two decades. No one is defending Hitler or the Holocaust, but you can see how a rational, ethical German soldier can see a reason to fight for his country.

The whole point of this video is to remember Rommel for his brilliant military tactics and personal decency.

Rommel is dead. His Afrika Corp and Heeresgruppe Afrika were destroyed by the British 8th army. The filth of Nazism was expunged, and Germany saved from this malignant evil. So, be warned, all you lured by the Nazi way, you will lose. Triumph and the history was and is, ours!
