Nice sound...by Herms Niel..he also made this in finnish:Kankahalla kasvaa kaunis kukkanen,
Nimeltään Kaarina.
Perhot kirjosiivet kiertää kilvaten,
Miss´ on hän, Kaarina.
Hällä huuli kun on hunajaa,
Tuoksu kummustansa tulvahtaa.
Kankahalla kasvaa kaunis kukkanen,
Nimeltään Kaarina.

It's kind of ambivalent. The "Blümelein" is the flower and the "Mädelein" the girl. Both named Erika.

Ahh ok thanks.

And would you know whether it was sung by the regular Wehrmacht? Or just by the Waffen SS?
MarcelloMantis (October 13, 2008 at 1:45 pm)
It's an all common soldier song. The Bundeswehr still sings it today, Westerwaldlied also, which is my personal favorite.

You gotta be freaking kidding me. Bush = Hitler? Why so? Because Bush took us into an unnecessary war on false pretenses? His body count is, MAYBE, 50K? Beg pardon, but that absolutely pales in comparison to the FIFTY MILLION killed in "Hitler's" war. Not to mention the genocide perpetrated. And whether you want to admit it or not, the Wehrmacht had its fair share of blood on its collective hands. On the Ostfront, it is a proven fact that Heer troops aided in the commission of warcrimes.
