Well I've still got my A4000 040 with 15 megs ram and 200 gig hard drive and i still do raytracing with Imagine 3.0. Still has lots more personality than the PC.

As a kid, I read "Family Computing" magazine (I think they turned into PC Magazine, or something like that) and they had compute prgrams for ALL the computer platforms in the 80s: PC, IBM AT, Atari 800XL, C64, etc. I always noticed that the Amiga was often separated from the rest of the Commodore line, and with GOOD reason. The Amiga was in a class by itself!

This video makes me so sad. The Amiga was one of the home computers to make digital animation more practical for people that wanted to get into the field. For a while there, the only way to get Lightwave was by getting an Amiga.
What a shame.

that was kinda sad...

The factory looks empty and lifeless although there were people inside.

Nope, Atari lived for years after Commodore went bust. There was some speculation they'd buy the pieces, but that was unfounded.
