you're never too young to play Chopin

why??

I agree she should in theory be too young to play Chopin, but as you should be able to see and hear, she isn't. It's what makes her so exceptional.

I'm surprised to find someone who says that Pollini is the worst Chopin pianist, who in my opinion, is the best. One of his specialties is Chopin nocturne, too. Which recording of his did you not enjoy?

exactly how old does someone have to be to have an interest in music

i donno. at 8 i was pretty full of emotion, and such.
but yes, you can see it in her movements: they're sort of mechanical like her playing.
otherwise, so technically perfect.
i'm jealous :#
