I think if Fischer had took on Karpov in 75 he would have won, but it would have been close. Karpov's strength was that he continued to improve. I think if they played each other at a later date, Karpov would win. But, who will ever know.

spassky made up half of the combinations fisher used to win but still when it came to strategy fisher could eat him alive
